Movies are scheduled in feature-length blocks called lots. All films are in one of five lots that will be shown at the festival.
All ticket sales will be General Admission.

Lot 1 Lavorsia - Official Selection - 19 mins. (Thriller) A social outcast falls in love with a mysterious girl, but her dark secret leaves them both fighting for their lives. The Resurrection of Plinko – Honorable Mention - 92 mins. (Comedy/Drama) A confident teenager falls in love for the first time when he meets a girl who is immune to his charms.
Lot 2 Dr Robert F Thomas - Official Selection - 10 mins. (Documentary) A medical missionary changes and saves the lives of his patients in the Great Smoky Mountains including one very famous Tennessean. We Shoot Zombies with a Special Presentation of Lock(ed) In - Official Selection - 61 mins. (Documentary) A Knoxville high school theater class endeavors to make a film in lieu of a play production.

Lot 3 A Little Christmas - Official Selection - 7 mins. (Drama) A family struggles with tough economic times on the verge of Christmas Eve.
Seed of Doubt - Official Selection - 15 mins. (Drama) A chance encounter with a man from her past forces a woman to reconcile her longing for her glory days with her maternal instincts.
The Suffering - Official Selection - 7 mins. (Drama) When a terminally ill man is released from prison, his victim’s father plans an unexpected visit.
The Pioneer Doctor – Honorable Mention- 23 mins. (Drama) A mountain family tries to cope with the death of a child and the emotional fallout that follows.

Lot 4 Flesh of My Flesh – Official Selection - 10 mins. (Horror) A young woman is hunted by a member of her cursed, cannibalistic family. #1 - Official Selection - 17 mins. (Comedy) In the world of local TV, an amoral has-been struggles to have a news magazine show.
Case 2233-04 – Honorable Mention - 20 mins. (Thriller) A up-and-coming actor’s rise to fame is chronicled through the lens of a single paparazzi photographer. Road to Oblivion – Honorable Mention - 25 mins. (Horror) Two men try to survive and maintain hope in a post-apocalyptic, zombie infested world.

Lot 5 The Dirty Guv’nahs: From the Basement to Bonnaroo - Official Selection - 22 mins. (Documentary) The story of a Knoxville band that documents their formation through the beginning of their success. The Ground Beneath Us - Official Selection - 29 mins. (Documentary) The detailing of what is being done in the Southeast to help preserve Native American history.
More Than Most – Honorable Mention - 18 mins. (Documentary) The tale of a man that was the example of many Americans of the twentieth century, who despite being born poor died rich in love and friendships.
Opening Night Mixer
Opening night will be celebrated by a meet and greet at the restaurant and lounge on River Terrace property. Get to know filmmakers, actors, local business owners, and audience members by networking and making new friends. Feel free to bring business cards, fliers, or other promotional materials. Screenings will start immediately following.
Awards Ceremony
Cocktails and appetizers will be served as we honor the top three films of the festival as well as the Viewer’s Choice Award, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress. Highlights will include revisiting past winners, showcasing moments over the course of the weekend, and opening submissions for the 2011 festival.
Free Workshop
Courtesy of Talent Trek Agency, whose credits include such films as Dear John and The Blind Side as well as popular known series Vampire Diaries, One Tree Hill, and ER, along with hundred of other projects. Juanell Walker and Charlotte Dennison of Talent Trek will be on hand to discuss what agencies do, what they look for, and all about working in the industry across the Southeast.
Charity Screenings The talented and successful filmmakers who took home prizes at the 2009 Gatlinburg Screenfest Film Festival have graciously allowed the use of the films for a free screening. We will be taking donations before and after this screening to give to the American Red Cross.
